Llangennith Gold Mine

It was at Llangennith that i surfed my first ever wave, back in the summer of 1989. Llangennith was a magical place and time of my life and i spent most of my teens and 20s living in my van there, surfing and working as a barman at The Kingshead pub.
Llangennith isn’t famous for powerful, hollow waves, but when you have spent decades exploring its moods, you get to know where and when it puts on its best show.
